Thomas Deacon is a designer, researcher, and engineer based in London, working in the creative industries. As a researcher, he maintains a focus on sonic and immersive experiences. His PhD work examined co-creative processes, to design systems that improve the experience of making immersive content. This was done by building design interventions based on the situated practice of artists, designers and engineers. Contributions explore the areas of human-human interaction, human-computer interaction, virtual reality, and spatial audio.
