Mathieu Barthet is Programme Coordinator of the Masters in Media and Arts Technology by Research. He is a Lecturer in Digital Media and conducts multidisciplinary research combining music information retrieval, perception and interaction.
Nick is the Director of MAT and Professor of Interaction Design. He researches Interaction Design specialising in the evaluation of engagement, participatory design, and user experience. Nick is a Fellow of the British Computer Society, and founding chair of ACM Creativity, Cognition, and Arts.
Jonathan is a graduate of Law who has previously worked for the BBC and the University of Cambridge. In addition he has a Diploma in Theatre, Film and Television Production and has written and directed various small fringe theatre productions.
Karen Shoop is a Senior Lecturer in Digital Media and was previously academic Head of the Advanced Placement Projects (APP) module.
Andrew McPherson is a Reader in the Centre for Digital Music and leads the Augmented Instruments Laboratory focusing on electronically-extended musical instruments and real-time audio processing. Andrew oversees the MAT first-year taught curriculum and co-teaches the Interactive Digital Multimedia Techniques module.
Geetha is a graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering and working for the MAT Programme supporting PhD and Masters students.
